I am predominantly working with video, text and people. In most of my work, I am investigating forms of participation and ways of getting involved. I'm interested in how and why people feel concerned / organize / plan / contextualize / think about "the bigger picture" and then contemplate on what's for dinner.
From August until October 2017, I moved back to my parents' farm where I started a series of events that aimed to reflect on the issues of small-scale farming and rural lifestyle. As I experimented with different formats and protagonists outside an art institutional setting, I was confronted with different viewing habits and expectations towards art.
In the current follow-up of the series I'm reflecting on the process and the failure of negotiating common grounds - aesthetically as well as content-related.
